I love creating spaces where people can slow down, connect with themselves, and learn to communicate with more clarity, care, and authenticity.

In my Nonviolent Communication (NVC) courses, you’ll build both practical tools and a deepening awareness that supports more ease, understanding, and connection — whether you’re navigating workplace dynamics, school settings, personal relationships, or your inner world. Even in situations that feel stuck or challenging, NVC can offer a new way forward.

I offer courses in Dutch and English, in Amsterdam, Oostzaan, and online via Zoom.

Flexible Pricing

If you are unfamiliar with NVC and would like to get a taster, I offer free 2-hour workshops regularly. See my calendar for upcoming events.

All of my 8-session courses are offered on a sliding scale. I created guidelines to support you in choosing which rate applies to you.

There are three guideline rates:

• A reduced rate for students and those with limited financial resources €350 online and €410 for in person. 

• A general rate for individuals with sufficient income                         €450 online and €510 in person 

• A business rate for those accessing professional development funds €700 online and €820 for in person 

Heart in Communication is registered with the Dutch CRKBO (Centraal Register Kort Beroepsonderwijs) as a recognized educational institution. This means that all my services are exempt from VAT under Dutch tax law.

I offer this model to make NVC as accessible as possible. If cost is still a barrier, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I don’t want finances to be the reason someone cannot learn NVC.

The courses include live group sessions (online or in-person), supporting materials (such as worksheets or slides), and suggested practice exercises. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, one-on-one guidance or follow-up support is not included, but can be arranged separately if desired.

Course Progression

New to NVC or wishing to refresh your skills? Start with the Foundation Course (Basiscursus). Continue with Level 2A and/or Level 2B  (Niveau 2A en/of 2B). After completing these three courses, you’re welcome to join the Level 3 Course (Niveau 3) for a deeper integration of your skills and awareness.

After completing these levels, you can begin assisting courses as a way to continue your development.  As an assistant, you offer empathy to participants and support them in exercises.  Prior to and following each session, you will do empathic exchange with me and other assistants as well as covering learning points.

Thinking About Certification?

As a Certified Trainer with CNVC, any hours spent learning with me count toward the 100 hours of training required to begin the CNVC certification process. In the four courses I offer, we explore the core distinctions, principles, processes, and consciousness at the heart of Nonviolent Communication.

Learning this language of the heart will greatly improve all your relationships, whether at work, with loved ones or with yourself!
