Level 3 Nonviolent Communication

Level 3 – Deepening Your NVC Practice

This course is designed for those who have completed a foundation course in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as well as both Level 2A and 2B, with a minimum of 72 hours of training. In this next-level journey, we’ll explore the deeper layers of applying NVC in real life. There’s plenty of space to bring in your own situations, alongside a rich integration of all aspects of the NVC model.

Between sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to practice with peers, reflect through reading material, and engage in small homework invitations to support your learning.

Across 8 sessions, we’ll explore:

  • The art of mourning and celebration

  • Healing dialogue

  • Working with fear

  • The power of role play

  • Transforming pain

  • Deepening empathy

  • Standing for honesty

  • NVC for social change

  • Mediation with The Empathy Game

Format

Groups are intimate with a maximum of 12 participants so there is ample opportunity to bring in your own situations during the sessions and to receive guidance and feedback from me. Sessions consists of exchanging empathy, sharing in the group, learning new material, observing and working with me on your cases and working in small groups.

Between sessions, you will receive reading materials and practice exercises, and are invited to work with fellow participants. The average time commitment outside the sessions is about one hour per session — for example, reading or practicing with a peer.

You’ll also be encouraged to connect with your community and begin offering empathy to others. I encourage you to spend 2–4 hours a month on this, while honoring your own capacity and the opportunities that arise.
